OPERATION:

  1. Pass one of the detonator leg wire or connecting wire through the DETOMET box

  2. Connect the optical cable from the DETOMET to the "Start" receiver

      of the EXPLOMET-FO

  3. Fix an optical cable to the detonator's end with a tape

  4. Connect the other end to the "stop" plug of the EXPLOMET-FO

  5. Turn the power switch "ON"

  6. Press the "RESET" button, the green light flashes

  7. Follow the instruction manual of your EXPLOMET-FO instrument

  8. Fire the detonator !

  9. The red light flashes, indicating that the DETOMET has detected the firing impulse

10. Read on the EXPLOMET-FO display the delay in microseconds  between the

      firing impulse and the base charge explosion.

To start a new measure press the "RESET" button.

 

Change the battery when the red light is steady or when there is no light at all.

To change the battery: remove the back panel of the case, take care of the cable, pull smoothly the battery backwards and turn it 90 degrees to release it from the clips.

Caution: Do not remove any other part of the case.
